I didn’t know how it would turn out to be. 5) There is a culture in which lawyers go through a five minute discussion. In recent years, people are always asking each other “Can we do this without you guys having to call all the time?” They’re asking, “Can we get busy?” Usually it’s because they love their time together. Since I love having other people’s stories and they have lots of stories, I don’t get much of a chance to express them. 6) Because of this culture, lawyers are supposed to “feel free to debate at the table with each other” and to have a discussion of what you should do when the deadline falls.
