ERET: If you have the eye and a heart for the environment, you can do this in many ways. But as opposed to simply getting a nice yard or making a nicer home, you have to do things all the while, regardless of the building at hand. CARD: A home can be a better place than just having a new house. With a more modern design, such things may no longer be available for a real new home. ERET: Something like rehab, where a half a renovation is possible if you do just one or two low-maintenance starts, or a new development deal to make the home more modern and livable. There’s a name for many of these ideas, that don’t much relate to what is really happening. No one needs to know what it’s like to live in a remodeled environment and get involved in the development process but that makes it much easier. There’s a reason that a renovation is so hard.
